2-Way Safe-Connect

The Mediplus 2-Way Safe-Connect is a 2-port peripheral IV connector allowing simultaneous infusions.

Integrated anti-reflux valve

To prevent back flow into the IV line, both ports are also fully integrated with needle-free swab-able ports.  These ports offer protection for both patient and clinician by mitigating infection control and reducing the risk of needle-stick injuries

Compact j-loop design with green bridge 

Prevents kinking and occluding of tubing whilst providing maximum comfort to patients.

Due to these features, this connector is often attached to the patient prior to surgery and used with an infusion line to administer TIVA anaesthesia.  The infusion line can then be discarded, and the 2-Way Safe-Connect can remain in-situ to allow for post-surgery pain relief or other medications to be administered.
